Volunteers to the submarine service, commands the crew before leaving to England.

1960
Commander and translator of the submarine basics course in Portsmouth. Later deputy chief engineer of the INS Rahav.

1961
First refit of a submarine in Israel. Chief Engineer of the Tanin during the refit and after.

1963
Commander of the Submariner School. Later leaves for studies at the Haifa Technion.

1971
Chief maintenance officer of the flotilla.

1973
Technical/mechanical crew of the Gal submarine project.
